Yes, each passenger will be required to sign a Waiver and Release Agreement. Additionally, the member of your party that is paying for the trip will be required to sign a Charter Contract. All documents will be signed upon arrival at the dock prior to departure.
If you do not book a private charter, yes, there might be other passengers.
Sunscreen (NOT spray sunscreen, it makes the boat very slippery), sunglasses, hat/visor, food/snacks, beverages, Dramamine or other seasickness remedies. Please bring your food and drinks in small bags. We will provide space in our coolers supplied with ice.
Please do not bring spray sunscreen, glass bottles, or drugs (including Rx'd marijuana products).
Summertime can be very hot with little wind. Shorts, hat, sunglasses and a light shirt are recommended. Face buffs are also a great way to keep the sun off. Afternoon showers may occur so a poncho or light rain jacket isn't a bad idea. Fall, winter and spring can be cooler in the mornings, so pants and layer shirts with jackets or hoodies.
We provide everything you will need to catch the fish - rods, reels, bait, ice, fishing licenses, fuel and safety equipment. Catch and release, or take your catch home for dinner!
Only if you want to. Our Captain will be glad to bait your hook for you if you prefer.
You may bring canned beer, seltzers, and other brewed beverages, but do not bring glass bottles. We prefer you bring beers in aluminum bottles as they can be recapped and rechilled in the cooler if left out.
**Please drink responsibly and do not become impaired. The Captain will promptly end the trip with no refund if passengers are determined to be intoxicated. **
Please be on time. The boat needs to free up dock space and depart on time. If you are running a few minutes late, please call 386-358-2400 to let us know your estimated time of arrival. If you are running more than 30 minutes late, you will forfeit your trip and deposit.
On the Intercoastal, we frequently see dolphins, manatees, various seabirds, and sea turtles. On the St. John's River, you will see alligators, shore birds, manatees and sometimes deer. On Lake McGarity, Sandhill cranes, Eagles and other birds are common.
